"Fear Not.."! :)‏

Hello!! :)

This week was GREAT!! :) It was so much fun and filled with great experiences!! :) (as is every week!! :) Missions are the best!! :) ) So some fun highlights from this week are..

Monday we had FHE with the YSA ward and it was SO. MUCH. FUN!! :) I felt like I was at EFY again being a Counselor and I loved it!! :) hah It was like my 3 favorite things all in one!! :) Mission. College. and EFY! :) ha Such a tender mercy! :) So during one of our weekly planning sessions we were trying to think of something fun we could do to get the ward involved in missionary work for the summer! :) And the Spirit inspired us with a super fun idea called "The Summer Missionary Games!!" :) So, what we are doing for the Summer is we divided the ward up into 4 different teams with team captains and we have a list of ways to share the gospel and points that go with each one! :) We made an emphasis that we are doing this for SOULS and strictly for "Points" but we wanted to help encourage them in a fun way to share the gospel because sometimes it can be scary to do! :) The ward has really caught onto this idea and has been doing great this past week in sharing the gospel in simple but fun and great ways! :) This past week we had an "opening ceremonies" where we told them who the teams were and the team captains and we had them come up with a team name from the Book of Mormon and then make a team flag!! :) They did SO great!! :) It was so much fun and everyone seemed to have a great time and really like the idea!! :) I'm SO grateful for the Spirit!! :) Serioulsy, I could not do ANY of this without Him!! :)

Another great event that occured this week was the MLC! :) (Mission Leader Council) which was very good! :) We discussed a lot about the mission and ways to improve AND the Spirit even taught me an amazing spiritual analogy about all the tornado experiences we have been having! ha Let me share it with you.. :)
So before these HUGE storms hit (about 2 or 3 EF-5 Tornadoes, which is the biggest/worst one) President Taylor was okay with us being in our bathtub or closet if we needed to when a storm came, if we didn't have a shelter to go to. But the DAY the EF-5 Tornado hit he had a prompting that morning that we ALL needed to be UNDERGROUND in a SHELTER! So that is what we did and thank goodness because that is the ONLY way you can survive and EF-5 tornado! Anything that it crosses that is above ground is GONE! So, how did the Spirit teach me we could relate this spiritually to ourselves?? Well, in the years past we have been safe having an "EF-3 or EF-4" testimony and conversion to the gospel and have been able to survive the 'storms' that come in our lives. BUT in the day that we live in now and will yet live in we NEED to be building ourselves an "EF-5 spiritual storm shelter" if we are to survive the 'spiritual storms' the adversary will throw our way! We need to strive to become more deeply rooted and converted to our Savior, Jesus Christ and His TRUE and RESTORED gospel! :) As we do so I PROMISE that YOU and I "CANNOT FALL" as it says in Helaman 5:12 and that even "when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have NO power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, BECAUSE OF the ROCK (the REDEEMER) upon which YE ARE BUILT, which is a SURE FOUNDATION, a foundation whereon IF MEN BUILD, THEY CANNOT FALL." :) I know this to be true! :) And I know that the Lord trusts and loves EACH and EVERY ONE of YOU! :) HE WILL provide a way to bless, prepare, and protect us against the attacks of the adversary and I KNOW that as we truly CLEAVE unto the LIGHT of our SAVIOR and build our lives upon Him and make Him the center of all we do, that we CANNOT FALL!! :) And we WILL RISE!! :) Let us rejoice in this glorious truth and SHARE It with our friends, family, and loved ones around us to help them "build their sure foundations" upon Christ and His true and RESTORED gospel! :) I know that they (and each of us) WILL be greatly blessed as we do so!! :)

We have also received a lot of referrals this week! Yay!! :) We have been going out and meeting them and setting up appointments with new people to teach and share this glorious truth with! :) It is so great!! :) We met an AMAZING girl named Melissa!! :) She is SO happy and super amazing!! :) We are super excited to teach her tomorrow and share the Plan of Happiness and Truth with her!! :) Please keep her in your prayers and pray that she will accept/receive this gospel that has been restored and progress within it! :) THANK YOU! :) THANK YOU SOOOO Much for ALL your love, kindness, letters, emails, support, and prayers!! :) I'm SO grateful for EACH and EVERY ONE of YOU! :) Y'all are SOOO amazing!! :) The Church is true and Heavenly Father LOVES YOU!! :) Trust in Him and He will guide you back to Him! :) I KNOW this to be true!! :) Trust it. live it. share it! :) The Church is TRUE!! :)

One last thing I wanted to share.. We also did SERVICE this week!! :) And did more tornado clean up with our Zone! :) Which was super fuN! :) We have a great Zone! :) It's AMAZING to see the GREAT and INCREDIBLE strength the Lord so abundantly gives us so we can continue to serve our fellowman!! :) What a blessing!! :) The misisonaries and people of Oklahoma are INCREDIBLE!! :) It is such a joy to serve around them and to help serve these wonderful people here in Oklahoma! :) One of the super sweet older ladies we helped serve has even asked that missionaries come teach her!! :) Her name is Paula (she is 72 and from France) and she is SO cute and sweet! :) We love her! :) Please keep her in your prayers as well! Thank you! :)

Well, I hope you each have an INCREDIBLE week and know that the Lord's work is HASTENING!!! :) The Lord is helping to bring us together even amidst the 'storms of life' to help us turn to Him and be instruments in His hands as we all work together to bring about the great good that is happening all around us! :) have a great day and week!! :) We love you!! :)
