MTC or TMC?? :) {Week 1}

Oh my goodness! Well everyone was right! i LOVE the MTC!! :) It is sooOOOOoo fun and AMAZING!! :) I'm so grateful for this amazing experience and opportunity the Lord has blessed me with! :) I have been learning sooooo much! holy cow! Before going in i was like okay i think in know how to be a good missionary but WOW i've learned a TON of what i need to do and work on! But i KNOW the Lord is blessing me! At first (as you all know) I was sad i didn't get to learn a new language like Spanish! But the other day i realized that i AM learning a new language! The language of the Spirit! :) And let me tell you, i'm pretty sure the Lord knew that's all I could handle and needed to focus on! So i'm really grateful for that! Learning the language of the Spirit for OTHER people is one of the hardest and most interesting and rewarding things i've ever done, but it's great! And thank goodness we get to practice a LOT here! So first thing i noticed when i got here to the MTC is allllll the amazing tender mercies the Lord has blessed me with! From the TONS of people I've seen and know here! to the really good food! to my awesome teachers and district! and for being able to run into my companion before we were even suppose to meet! to all the little things i've learned in classes and firesides that were exactly what i needed to hear! Pretty sure this place should be called the TMC instead! for Tender Mercy Center! :) ha but anywyas i love it and i'm so grateful for how mindful Heavenly Father is of me and each one of you! :) I love you all so much! and miss you!!! Some amazing people i've 'run into' has been my cute EFY kid Elder Gray! Elder Moss (my friend Jami's little brother), Sister Kohler (efy counselor friend), Sister Jena Anderson (efy counselor friend) Landon Paey! (a guy i went on a date with from the band Foreordained! hah he's a teacher here!) Elder Graham (from our home stake!) and Sister Sami Simpson!! :) there's been others as well but those are the main ones that stick out! CRAZY huH?! oh my goodness you should see me when i run into someone i know! :) hah i like jump up and flip out cuz i'm so excited! It makes my day everytime! Always a tender mercy from the Lord :) Next thing, is the food is WAY good! which is good! and bad.. haha but we work out too so no worries! ha gym time is really fun and i've gotten better at volleyball! (just like Ashlee had predicted ;) ) ha oH! i also ran into Elder Barnes from our singles ward! love that kid (i mean Elder)! he's so funny! OH! so i have to tell you the quick verson of me and my AMAZING MTC companion, Sister Ewell! So right after you dropped me off and i was in line with my luggage i found out the Sister in front of me was goin to OKC too! So we were freakin out and were way excited! THen we found out we were roommates and then COMPANIONS! the Sisters helping us said that nEVER happens!! (meeting your comp. so soon!) Tender Mercy #1..! :) ha Later we met our awesome district which has 4 Sisters and 4 Elders (Sister Ewell, Sister Nanto, Sister Brown, Elder Fisher, Elder Robb, Elder Penney, and Elder Evans) i love all of them, they are all great! and we have the best teachers! Bro. Strong and Bro. Rose! :) Let's see what else would you all want to know?! there is SOOOO much i could tell you!! hah SOOO much goes on here everyday!!! i love it! but the days def. blend together! I can't believe i've only been here for a week! and at the same time i can't believe it's a week already!! hah oh also the Lord has been blessing me to be able to wake up at 6:30 (actually usually like 6:20) every morning and i feel great! TENDER MERCY!! see what i'm talkin about?! ha i love it here because i feel like the Spirit is always with me and even during hard times and i feel like i should be crying or somethin i don't, because the Lord lifts me up and just makes me feel so happy! i'm so happy here!! and full of peace, comfort, and just idk goodness! i'm so grateful! :) Anyways i thought you might want to know about if i was able to wake up and be alive each morning mom! ;) hah and dad too! hah so our prayers are answered! ha Okay, next so basically everday consists of waking up, goin to class for personal study, meals, class time (6 hours total throughout day but it goes by really fast and is fun!) zone teaching, gym, more personal or companion study, and teaching investigators! (who may or may not be real investigators!) That's probably the scariest thing but it's the thing i NEED to get better at! since that's what i'll be doing my WHOLE mission!! hah So could everyone pray for me and all the missionaries?! :) Thank you!! We feel everyones prayers here!! and i especially do too!! So thank you!! :) Also, just so you know my P-day here is wedenesday and we are going to the temple today! woo hoo! i'm so excited! :) then we teach an investigator named Kofi tonight! Also, on sunday (which i lOVE sundays here!) we went up and id a temple walk and took tons of pictures!! basically i've taken a TON of pics while i've been here!! but idk how to get them on the comp. to send them to you! :/ It's not like a normal comp. so i'll have to ask and try and to that next week! i'm so sorry! i was super bummed when i couldn't get it to work! but no worries! You'll see them somehow! :) ha they are fun! Okay well thank you sOOO much family for emailing me!! keep those comin they make my day!! ALSO i LOVE LOVE LOVE letters!! because we can read those whenever we get them! but only emails once a week! So write away if you feel so inclined! :) hah I love you all and i only have 3 minutes left! (we get 30 min. to email) so i will try and write more letters today! I love you all thanks soOO much for everything!! THe Church is True!! I LOVE the Book of Mormon!! it is the greatest tool we have for conversion! It makes me so happy! Have a great day!! I'll talk to you soon! Thanks for everything!! :)
