Hey hey y'all!! :)
THIS WEEK HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE!!!! :) I LOVE MISSIONS!!!! :) :) :) oh my goodness!!! This has probably been my FAVORITE WEEK of my WHOLE MISSION so far!!!!! :) I LOVED THE LTM!!!! (Leadership Training Meeting!!) It was 4 days long and changed my life/mission!! :) I LOVED IT!!! :) Wow!! I'm sOOOO grateful I was blessed to be able to go!! :) It was AMAZING!!!! :) The Spirit was sO strong! all week long!! And my testimony of the gospel and missionary work was strengthened and deepened immensely!! :) Each day we would get to the church building where it was held at 8:30am and would leave around 5:30pm!! :) for 4 days!! i LOVED IT!! :) It was SOOO fun and spiritual and amazing!! It was like EFY for Missionaries!! ("EFM"!! ;) ha) So of course i loved it!! :) What a blessing!! :) It came at the perfect time too!! :) I just love Heavenly Father!! He is sOO mindful of EACH one of us!! It's incredible!!! :) I'm sO grateful!! :) So some of the highlights of the LTM week include..
*AMAZING Trainings by Pres. Taylor!!! :) -they were SOOO good!! :) I just love Pres. Taylor!! :)
*Inspiring Real-plays and revelation recieved for our investigators -I have SUCH a TESTIMONY of Real-Play!! It works!! :) What an amazing revelatory tool!! :)
*Awesome trainings by the AP's and Zone Leaders (discussed the 8 Fundamentals of Missionary Work! loved it!! :) )
*Us Sisters (10 of us were there amongst a TON of Elders!! ha) were blessed to do a musical number of a really pretty arrangement of "Did you Think to Pray"
*INCREDIBLE Missionary Testimony Meeting!! :) ( I was blessed/prompted to share my testimony on the JOY we recieve from living the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ and how that's the reason i came on a mission -the gospel makes me SOOO happy and has blessed my life sOOOO much!!! - and how even when we are tired and exhausted some days yet we are STILL HAPPY!! that that is Heavenly Father's way of saying "Thank you" for doing my work and helping His children return back to Him!!" :)
*A fun/cute couple came and gave us "Missionary Tips/Advice" (the girl was a convert of 3 years and her husband was an RM :)
*"Preach My Gospel Jeopardy!!" (Super fuN! They put ALL the Sisters on one team and we got team names! We named our team "the Daughters of Ishmael!!" :D haha everyone thought that was so fun/funny! :) We loved it!
*I got to say the opening prayer one of the days!! :)
*Talking with and being strengthened by other missionaries around us!! I love the Spirit of Missionary work and seeing/talking to missionaries who are doing the same thing as you!!! :) It pumps me up!! :) ha
*Wonderful meals provided by other wards throughout the areas! :)
*All of us Sisters got asked by Pres. Taylor (the day before) to teach the training on "The role of the Holy Ghost in Conversion" :) and to each take 5 minutes on sharing the -principle -experience -testimony of the part we were assigned! :) I LOVED IT!!! WOW the Sister (and Elders) in our mission are AMAZING!!! :) it was a REALLY cool training on the Spirit!! i loved it!! :) I talked about not just (what some missionaries call "F.T.S" - Follow the Spirit) but to "H.F.T.S" - HUMBLY Follow the Spirit!! :) I learned A LOT as a prepared it!! I learned a lot during this whole WEEK!!! holy moly!!! What a blessing!! :)
After the LTM each day we would go back to the area we were assigned (i was assigned to the OKC 1st area with Sis. Smith, Sis. Esau, and Sis. EWELL!!! :D ) and work in that area the rest of the night! :) And oh my goodness were we blessed with some MIRACLES!!! we sure were!! it was incredible!! :) We found 2 new investigators and a bunch of potential ones for their area!!!! with the guidance of the Spirit!!!! :) It was incredible!!! And Sis. Ewell and I had a blast being roomies and working together for the 4 days in the OKC 1st area!!! :) What a blessing!! We were SOOOOO excited!!! :) i just love her!! :)
So the LTM was just INCEDIBLE!!! Greatest blessing ever!!! (as you can tell :) ha) I'm so excited to teach Sis. Pfister the things i learned and apply all i learned from those who taught me and ESPECIALLY the things the Spirit taught me!! :) I KNOW the Church is TRUE!!!! :) I know that the RESTORED GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST is TRUE!!! and that by knowing, living, loving, and sharing it we are BLESSED IMMENSELY!!!!! :) I love it with all my heart!!! :) and i love you all!!! i hope you have a wonderful day and week!!! And know that Heavenly Father loves you!!! :) He only wants what is BEST for you!! :) And wnats you to trust in Him to fulfill it!! :) I know my Savior Lives and loves me and each one of you!! :) Always stay close to your Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ!! :) He is the way!!!!! :D In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. :)
