Hey hey!! :)
This week has been an awesome one!! Wow! Lots of great things happened! :) First, we have still been teaching amazing Tatiana (the 15 yr. old) the lessons and we taught her the Plan of Salvation with the cool visuals and she LOVED it! She was taking notes and agreed with it all! She's just incredible!! :) We love her! We were able to go to young women's with her and her sister (Myrianna- the 17 yr. old) and it was sO fuN!! Aww i miss young women's! such great times! They had a combined activity with the young men and did a really cool 'Random Acts of Service" activity!! It was sweet and a perfect activity for us to be at! :) ha The girls had a blast too and the youth in our ward are great :) It makes me miss the youth in my homeward- they are AMAZING!! :) Such great examples! (if any of you amazing youth are reading this -keep up the great work!! And doing what's right!! Your great example influences MANY for good!! even when you don't even realize it!! And always remember the temple is AMAZING!! :) which is why you and the temple are a perfect fit- you're both AMAZING!! :) )
We also had Stake Conference this week which was sUper incredible!! I really really enjoyed it!! There were tons of excellent talks!! :) (i wish i would've brought my notes to tell you more!) They talked about being righteous in a wicked world. Focusing on the eternal things-things that matter most, living up to the divine potential that's within each one of us, and trusting in the Lord with all our hearts and letting Him direct our lives (for he TRULY knows the best and happiest path/plan for EACH one of us!! Even when we think we know best.. He is really the one that does. I have definitely seen that MULTIPLE times throughout my life! And have a testimony of that, that Heavenly Father TRULY knows what's best for us and what will help you make it back to live with Him in complete and never-ending happiness!! with our amazing and loving families!! :) TRUST in His Plan for you!! You will never regret following the path He has for you and doing the things He has instore for you that He may open the windows of Heaven and pour out blessings upon you all along the way!! Leading you to life-eternall!! :) Awh, i just love it!! :D )
We also started teaching this awesome girl named Jessica who has a 3 yr. old little boy (he's sO cute!!) and she seems really excited about our Church and wants to come this week!! :) woo hoo!! We gave her a Book of Mormon this past week and she is just a super sweet girl and always really happy!! It's awesome! we are excited to go back and teach her more! To add to that happiness in her life and bring the fulness and JOY of the gospel to her!! :) Missions are the best!! :)
We ALSO met this AWESOME family yesterday that is less-active and found out their daughter (17) isnt' baptized! She's INCREDIBLE!! and has a great light about her! We are excited to go back and teach her more as well and help her to come to know the TRUTHFULNESS of the gospel of Jesus Christ for herself as well!! :)
This week we had TEMPLE CONFERENCE with all the missionaries!! (well half of them because the other half had it on friday) it. was. INCREDIBLE!!!! :D I loved it!! It was a super great and powerful Spirit filled day!!! :) Those are the best days!! :) So for Temple Conference we all went to the church (that is right next to the temple!! like you walk out of the doors of the church onto the grounds and entry way to the temple- so cool!) and had a training by Pres. and Sister Taylor, then half of us went and did an Endowment Session in the Temple!!! uh-mazing!!! (i missed the temple!!) and then had a 'snack' and another AMAZING training by Pres. Taylor while the other half went and did an Endowment Session and then we all met back and had lunch! After that we had a testimonies given by those who are going home after this transfer (including Sis. Buckley- so sad :( ) and it was just a WONDERFUL conference and day! :) i LOVED it all!! We all felt so happy and filled with the Spirit as we departed and we all couldn't say enough about how much we lOVE the Temple and how the gospel is SOOO true!!! :D i love it!!! :) What a blessing to be a part of Jesus Christ's TRUE Church on the Earth today with the FULNESS of HIS gospel!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! i love it!! :) It makes me so happy and there are sOOO many AMAZING things to learn and become through the gospel, it's incredible!! :) God's Plan of Happiness is perfect! It is so just yet sOOO merciful!! It is TRULY what brings true and lasting happiness and joy!! And fills our life with purpose and direction which will lead us to life eternal- living with God in a state of never-ending happiness!!!" (Mosiah 2:41) Who could ask for more??! The gospel is true and i love it!! I hope I can strive to be a better disciple of Christ while I am out here and truly fulfill all He wants me to fulfill!! It's interesting how a mission makes you see some of your weaknesses more (because you are rising to a higher and better way of living - a more godly way of living -) that truly the words found in Ether 12:27 come to life! However the reassuring and comforting words in Ether 12:37 are sOO true as well!! :) What a blessing to have a loving Heavenly Father who, despite our weaknesses and shortcomings, is ALWAYS there and willing to help us overcome those hard things and turn our weaknesses into strengths. All we have to do is humble ourselves (recognize our weaknesses) and have faith (trust) in Him that He can and will do so! :) I love the scriptures!! They are sO true!! Heavenly Father TRULY does speak to us through them!! For they are HIS words and are filled with HIS Spirit that in returns speaks to us and fills our souls! :) I love this gospel. It is true. It is the only way back to live in complete and never-ending happiness with our FAMILIES and HEAVENLY FATHER again! :) It is worth EVERY sacrifice. EVERY tear. EVERY uncomfortable stretch. and EVERY effort to reach this ultimate joy-filled goal and to learn, grow, and become all Heavenly Father wants us to! :) We chose Christ (and God's plan) before we came to earth (pre-existence) and we can and will Choose Christ again now! :) I know these things are true! I know that as you apply the gospel (doctrine) of Jesus Christ -which is Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Gift of Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End- that you will recieve your eternal reward in Heaven!!!! :) It is worth it! Keep pressing forward!! God doesn't ask for perfection, He only asks for progression (no matter how little or big that progression may be! :) ) You are all AMAZING and INCREDIBLE Sons and Daughters of God!! He and your Savior, Jesus Christ, love you and so do I!! :) Keep shining that light that's within you and know that God is watching over you and is mindful of all you do and stand in need of! Trust in Him!! :) "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not unto your own understanding (what makes sense to you). In ALL thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy path!!" (Proverbs 3:5-6) :)
