MIRACLE DAY! :)

Hello Everyone!! :)

 

This week has been incredible!! :) so so great!! Especially SATURDAY!!! Holy moly!!! :) but I'll tell you more about that later.. :) ha Soooo this week started out great because on Monday (after P-day was over) we went to dinner at a member's home (the Thacker's- a super awesome and cute big family! :)) and we had a cAmPfIrE!! :) We roasted hotdogs and 'smores outside and had like a BBQ! It was sOOO much fun!! It was such a beautiful day and reminded me of being home when we went to sOO many bonfires and had tons of campfires!! I loved it! It made me so happy! And i just love the Thacker's! :) After we tracted into a couple across the street who the ELDERS (in our area) had talked to earlier when they were at JCPenney!!! haha small world??! Nope, just Heavenly Father doing His (amazing) job!! :) It was so cool, they were way sweet! They didn't want a Book of Mormon really but later I felt like we should still give them one, so we gave one to the Thacker's to give to them so they could have a 'missionary moment' etc.! :) But yeah, this week has been filled with great teaching experiences and finding amazing people to start teaching!! :) Okay, so are you ready for MIRACLE DAY??! (aka Saturday!! ha) SO, we planned to go up to Perry (like 30-40 minutes away from Stillwater) to visit some people and tract if we had time. But on our WaY Up there we had like FIVE miracles happen!!! :D hah it was crazy amazing!! We said tOnS of "prayers of thanks!!" :) So first, remember Nancy?? Wellll we had felt like even though she had basically 'dropped' us we should stop by on our way up and just see how she is and say hi! :) It. Was. Incredible!!!! WOW!! We knocked on her door and she let us in and we were able to have an AMAZING conversation and lesson-ish with her! We talked about Heavenly Father's love and plan for us and sang "I Am a Child of God" to her!! :D She was crying thoughout the whole thing, it was so precious! :) Nancy is seriously uh-mAzing!! but just has to get past the barrier of fear and things that Satan is putting in her way! She asked us when we were going to come back and PROMISED this time that we could really come wednesday (since she knew she kept cancelling on us in the past) She is so sweet and it was such an amazing visit!! We just love Nancy!! :D And so does her Heavenly Father!! SOOO much!!! And we almost didn't go and visit her because at the last minute Sister Draper felt like maybe we shouldn't but we realized that was Satan trying to stop us so thank goodness for spiritual promptings!! :) Miracle #2: On our way again up to Perry, after leaving Nancy's house, we were driving by a past referall's house (who we were never able to get in contact with and just left her lots of notes and a Book of Mormon and stuff) and she was OUTSIDE!!!! So we turned around and went to her house! We were finally able to talk to her and meet her and she was way nice! we are going back to teach her on Thursday!! :D Miracle #3: After, we stopped by another person's house (we had planned to visit) but she wasn't home so we started tracting around her house! and we met an AMAZING lady that was outside teaching her little girl to ride a bike! She was SOOO sweet and easy to talk to! We were able to give her a Book of Mormon and read a verse from it (Mosiah 24:16) that was able to bring her comfort (she was going through a hard time recently.) and get to know her better and set up an appt. with her for thursday also! it was AWESOME! And guess what her name is??! CRYSTAL!!! :D haha i told her that was my name too and she seemed shocked by that too!! :) ha and just that we had stopped by to talk to her! loved it! :) Miracle #4: After that we went to our car to really drive to Perry! ha but on our way out we wondered if we should've stopped to talk to Crystal's neighbor across the street?! We drove past this lady as she was walking into her house. I really felt like we should so we got out of hte car and started walking back (it was a lot further that we thought! ha) We then saw a golf cart coming up our way and guess who was in it??!! That ladY (we were going back to see)!! with her husband!! :D haha definitely a tender mercy and miracle from Heavenly Father! :) We stopped them and talked to them and they weren't really interested but we still gave them a Book of Mormon card and they told us that no one else was home on the street (to save us from walking all the way down there- we were only going to go see them though! hah)  we thanked them and wakled back to our car! :) So once we were actually in Perry we had Miracle #5 :)  We went to give a member a Spanish Bible and her next door neighbor was outside andasked us what we were doing?! We went over and talked to her and she seemed really interested and we told her about general conference and gave her a Book of Mormon! :) She said we could stop by again sometime! Holy moly, Miracle Day right??! :D We were sOOOOOO grateful and were lOVING that Day and are sO grateful for our Heavenly Father and blessing us with SOOOO many Miracles and ALL in a ROW!!! :D ha i love it!!! I know this Church is true!! Heavenly Father is SOOO mindful of us, His children, and has PERFECT timing if we will trust in it! :) I hope everyone is doing AMAZING and that we can all continue to recognize the Lord's hand in our lives each day!! :D The gospel is amazing and the greatest blessing EVER! :) I love and miss you all and hope you have an incredible day and week!! :) love yoU!! :)
