Katelynn got Baptized!! :)

Hello, Hello!! :)
How is everyone doing?! :) I hope amAzingLy!! :) I miss you all sO much!! But i am doing great here in the OK! :) It is a beautiful day and missionary work is the best!! :) Most exciting news of this past week..KATELYNN GOT BAPTIZED!!! :) woo hoo!!! MIRACLE!! :) It turns out her grandma had pneumonia the weekend katelynn was suppose to get baptized! crazy!! she is doing mUch better now! And the baptism was AmAZING!!! :D She is sUch a sweet and amazing girl and will do many great things in her life as she continues to stay on the straight and narrow path and strives to keep her baptismal covenants! :) The primary gave her a journal (That she has already started writing in about her baptism and everything! and she was writing in it at Church on Sunday after she was confirmed a member of the Church and recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost (the greatest gift on earth ever!! :) ) The bishop gave her brand new scriptures (a mini black quad) at her baptism too and she was SOOOOO excited!! Holy cow, her smile was huge, it was the best!!! Scriptures are just the best!! :) What a great day and such a great blessing to be a part of 2 baptisms within a week of each other!! yay!! I love it!! :) Heavenly Father loves His children, that's for sure!! :D
Other events of the week.. Monday we had a lovely "slightly bashing" experience :) hah We met with some referrals, at a members home, who wanted to learn more about our beliefs and had some questions.. We taught them about the Book of Mormon and read from it and parts of the discussion were good but some not so much.. hah it was crazy how when they would ask certain (skeptical) questions I could feel the Spirit instantly leave! But when we would speak truth and speak kindly and read from the Book of Mormon it would come back! Testimony builder of the Book of Mormon!! The Book of Mormon is SOOO true!!! i love it!! :D A talk i absolutely love about it is by Elder Callister (from this past Oct. conference) and is called "The Book of Mormon- a book of God" it's so awesome!! I also love how Elder Holland says (about the Book of Mormon), “No wicked man could write such a book as this; and no good man would write it, unless it were true and he were commanded of God to do so." ("Safety for the Soul" Oct. 2009 conf.) SO true!! There is also an AmAziNG video about this from that talk by Elder Holland ( i just love Elder Holland he is so powerful, it's awesome!! :)) Here's the link for it!! :) it's AmAziNg!!!
Tuesday, we taught Carol and lots of other amazing people that we love! :) Wednesday we were able to do service at Karman's Korner (kind of like Plato's Closet) and help clean someone's house later on and teach! Oh! We also had dinner at a member's home, The Monson's!! :) I love them!! they have thee bEsT dinners!! and are such a fun couple! they have a cute little girl that's about 1 1/2 and we asked Sister Monson if she would make us a little cookbook of all the stuff she has made us throughout the transfers so we can have it and make it when we get home after our missions! :) ha she said she would -fingers crossed! :) ha Let's see, other amazing things.. pretty much this past week wAs SUPER busy!! We saw, taught, visited, and served a TON of people this week! We taught like 26 lessons!! (both members and nonmembers!) it was crazy!!! and great!! Lots of cool 'timing' things of the Lord happened and it was sO awesome to see that! Heavenly Father's hand is truly in our lives in everything!! each and every day!! it's incredible! i love it! :) I do want to close with one (specific) AMAZING Miracle we saw this past week, though!! And it involves a VERY important organization/calling in the Church! :) So, we had someone text us (randomly) that was going through a REALLY hard time, like it was text that you (especially as a missionary) NEVER want to get! We were of course very concerned and called them saying we wanted to come visit them and talk with them so we did.. and when we got there there was a car outside. We thought, oh no, who could that be? we hope it won't distract from the conversation we need to have with them and message we want to share.. and guess who it was?! Her Visiting Teachers!!!!! :D They had the feeling they should stop by (not even planned) and see how she was doing/share a message with her!! Ummm.. can you say PERFECT TIMING and MIRACLe??!! WOW!!! What inspired visiting teachers!!!! :D It was PERFECT, exactly what this person needed, and an answer to her prayers!! She knew the decision she was going to make was NOT the right one and that this was Heavenly Father telling her that and was sO mindful of her!! :D Sister Draper and I have never been sOO happy to see visiting teachers and it REALLY strengtehned my testimony of just how important that calling is!!! You NEVEr know what amazing good you can do by visiting/home teaching someone!! ALWAYS fOLLOW THE PROMPTINGS!!! :D No matter, how random it may seem!! You never know when you just might save a soul!! :D It was awesome and such a great story i just had to share it!! And it made us coming over and talking with her a lot easier since she already knew she had recieved this 'message' from God! :) UH-MAzING! :) Heavenly Father is truly SO mindful of each one of us and it is incredible!! Never Forget that! 'The Lord did not send us here to fail.. [He wants us to} go forward in life with a twinkle in our eyes and a smile on our faces with great and strong purpose in our hearts! :) He wants us to love life and look for it's opportunites and Forever and Always be Loyal to the Church!!" (-President Hinckley :) ) I love this gospel, i know that it is true! By living the teachings of this restored gospel of Jesus Christ is truly how we have peace, hope, purpose, and lasting happiness in our lives! :) "Happiness comes from being committed to a value system" (-John Bytheway) and I am sOO grateful that we have the gospel as our 'value system' to be committed to!! :) I hope everyone has an AmAziNG day and week!!! You are in my prayers and i love you all!! :) Thank you for ALL the love and support and prayers for me and all the missionaries EVERYWHERE!! :) You are incredible and Heavenly Father loves YOU!! :D and so do I! Keep looking for alllll those little (and big) tender mercies and miracles that Heavenly Father places in our lives DAILY! :) i know He does, we just have to recognize them and give thanks to Him when we do! :) He love you and wants to bless you!! :) CTR and Follow the Spirit and you'll never have to worry! :)
Love, Sister Carlini :)
